Hello all, this is Suven Jagtiani here (an ex-JEE aspirant).
I secured the following ranks/percentile in national/state level engineering entrance exams:
- JEE Advanced 2021: AIR 334
- JEE Mains 2021: 99.90%ile
- MHT-CET 2021: 99.995%ile
- BITSAT Marks: 371/450
A lot of times I receive messages from JEE aspirants asking about the resources that I used during my preparation and if I could share them. Well, I thought sharing it with each one of you'll one -by-one is a tedious task and from this very thought arose the idea of this blog.
The resources that I am sharing here are basically for the phase of JEE preparation post syllabus completion. In this phase, aspirants need to look to revise things and take their preparation to the next level. For doing this, you require good quality questions and tests and that is what I am providing here. Note that, having personally solved these assignments and tests during my JEE preparation and also having solved the past-year JEE Advanced papers, I can safely state that most problems in these assignments have problems having level higher than JEE Advanced problems. The easiest problems in these assignments are the moderate level JEE Advanced questions.
Some words of caution:
- I would only recommend you to do them if you are wanting to bag an under-1000 rank.(well, most aspirants aspire to bag an under-1000 rank but from within, everyone knows about their present level of preparation and the improvement that they can achieve. So, keeping these 2 things in mind, if you think you should be able to achieve an under-1000, then these resources are perfect for you.)
- If there is someone who is already guiding you in your preparation, inform that person about these resources and utilise these only under that person's guidance.
- Also, please don't 'judge' your level of preparation through these questions. Doing that, would lead to disappointment. These assignments and tests are for your improvement and trust me, a lot of improvement actually happens after the syllabus gets over.
Final word, there could be times when you get bogged down while doing challenging problems but always remember, this is a part and parcel of the process and you must enjoy the process more than anything else.
